Best way to clean marble:

There are many ways, economic and ecological, to clean marble. For ordinary cleaning, Marseille soap is excellent. Pass a soft damp sponge on the soap and then rub the marble, granite or stone. Then rinse with a damp cloth. The soap degreases the marble, is antibacterial and gives it shine. If the surface is very dirty you can sprinkle it with baking soda before wiping with the sponge. In fact, it is not necessary to use only specific detergents. For some particular treatment, on special occasions, it might be worth it, but don’t overdo it.
